Meet our Saskatchewan Pizzaioli! (Pizzamakers)
Marco De Michele and Tracey Johnson moved back to Tracey's home province from Italy and started Solo Italia from the ground up.
"We moved to Ogema from Northern Italy in January 2012, bringing with us our passion for “la cucina italiana” (Italian cuisine). Italians are known for their desire to share; to share in conversation, to share good times, and of course to share good food. Since August 2013 we’ve been sharing authentic, home-made Italian specialties with Ogema and surrounding areas.
As a small, family run facility, we take pride in quality and in tradition. We use truly authentic recipes; some handed down from generation to generation, some from “la nonna” (grandmother), and others from experienced Italian chefs. Our goal is to bring a little taste of Italy to southern Saskatchewan. We hope you enjoy!"
