Rosemary Kitchen & Bakery
Cooking has been Tetiana's passion since the age of 9.
"That is what makes me happy, as well as my friends who I share my food with (not to mention my family).
Another thing I've always been interested in is the idea of healthy eating. Back in Ukraine I studied in a yoga school and learned about healthy diets and how food influences our bodies. I read some Ayurveda books and found out that the right food can cure and the wrong food can cause diseases.
I first heard the term “Gluten Intolerance” when I came to Canada. I have some friends with that problem and one of them also has dairy intolerance. So I had to cook without wheat flour and dairy products when we ate together. Also at that time my daughters suddenly disliked regular baking and I started to bake with chickpea, almond and flax flour instead of wheat flour. They introduced me to some beautiful websites with gluten free recipes that lead me to another theme - raw desserts.
Most products just use gluten free flour which doesn't taste good.
That is why I believe people might be interested in homemade, healthy and delicious gluten free food and desserts.
Prior to starting a business, cooking was just my hobby, as I worked in a different field as a graphic designer in Saskatoon Express Newspaper. In May 2019 the business was closed and I realized it was a good time to change my career and do what I really love to do."
