Being in the AG industry, we have always felt very strongly about knowing where our food comes from, how it was raised or grown, and who produced it. 

We felt that if these were things we wanted to know, then why not inform consumers as well.  So as we built the idea of this market, we wanted our customers to know exactly who raised, grew or made our products.  We want you as our customers to know that what you are buying was raised humanely and is environmentally sustainable. 

We have selected livestock producers who are working with the environment to protect our grasslands, watersheds and the sustainability of livestock production in an ever changing climate.  Producers using low stress animal handling techniques, free range or grass fed animals.

We have selected growers from right here in the province and makers who are sourcing as much of their product from those local producers as they can.  Mostly small batch producers, who like us, are building something to live the life they want.

We also wanted to stick with locally sourced product to help our Saskatchewan communities and entrepreneurs. So as we have been sourcing producers we have stayed as local as we can, but have stayed within Saskatchewan.
