Creative Eats is a locally owned and operated company, based out of Estevan, Saskatchewan. Nikita Meyer started the company back in 2018.

The cheesecake company was started when Nikita was coming off of maternity leave with her daughter. The thought in mind was to being able to spend as much time with family as possible while still providing an income doing something she has loved since she was a little girl.

She spent the first year travelling to trade shows and events throughout Saskatchewan getting the taste of Creative Eats out there. Expanding quickly from trade shows to retail stores within the first year, Nikita quit her job of seven years to pursue her entrepreneurial dream.

“Being in Saskatchewan is a great place to start a business. With so many people supporting local businesses and a wide range of stores wanting to promote local products as well. I’m very thankful to have built relationships with a lot of consumers and the local retailers that I have. Making a living out of a love for baking is something the little girl version of me with an easy bake oven would be amazed of.”
